THE TRAVIS COUNTRY 5K RUN
MAY 7 2017
Join us for the third annual Travis Country 5K Run, located at the southern edge of the Barton Creek greenbelt in southwest Austin. Ten minutes from downtown but with a casual, Hill Country vibe, Travis Country features rolling hills, wildflowers and wildlife, and a 3.1-mile loop that is the heart and soul of the neighborhood's outdoor fitness community.
Proceeds from this year’s TC5K benefit the Hill Country Conservancy, whose mission is to protect open spaces and water quality in central Texas.
Participants who register by April 29 get a cool, TC5K technical t-shirt along with entry into the course-certified and chip-timed race. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers by age bracket. And to make the event enjoyable for the whole family, we’ll have a Kids K (kiddos 8 and under, please) immediately following the conclusion of the 5K run. Kids K racers also get a TC5K shirt to wear with pride.
Come see what TC is all about. The race begins Sunday, May 7 at 8 a.m. and entries are limited. Register today!
